The gemstone exhibition is one of the "must-sees" of the Goldtown of Pforzheim. On more than 350m² of exhibition space, visitors can see, sense and experience the fascinating world of gems and crystals and learn about the multifarious world of precious stones.

The collection, which has been growing for more than 50 years, contains many rare and impressive exhibits from all over the world. One highlight is the world map made of genuine gemstones with a size of 5×3 meters. It consists of various coloured stones and adorns the Entrée of the SCHÜTT company.

In addition to the gem exhibition also jewellery of different times are shown, from the 1930s to the present day. In addition to wonderfully grown crystal formations, there are highly precise hand engravings and large works of grinding art.

Guided tours
In our guided tours through the exhibition you will learn about the origins of gemstones. From rough stones to astonishing brilliant pieces. You will get to know the various qualities of stones, such as light effects, crystal systems and and rare phenomena. From the perspective of SCHÜTT, as a genuine bedrock of the Pforzheim jewellery industry, you will also get various interesting information about the history of the Goldtown of Pforzheim.
